  3. 7th Grade Introduction to Language • 90-day course • Expansion of a previous 30-day course with added communication and cultural experiences • Will enable students to build a foundation of the language • Will prepare students better for level I in 8th grade • Will allow students to recognize the importance of learning a language

  4. 7th Grade Introduction to French Topics • Useful French Phrases, Basic French Culture, Alphabet • Greetings, Farewells, Asking Someone’s Name, Asking How Someone is Feeling • Numbers 0-49 • Days, Months, and the Date • Telling Time • Classroom Objects and colors • Individual Culture Project • Ordering food in a restaurant • Conjugating the verb “to be” and describing people • Family
