  5. Graph lines using intercepts. Ex. 2 Graph 6x + 3y = 12 To find the y-intercept, subsitute0 for x; solve for y. 6x + 3y = 12 6(0) + 3y = 12 3y = 12 y= 4 To find the x-intercept, subsitute 0 for y; solve for x. 6x + 3y = 12 6x + 3(0) = 12 6x = 12 x= 2 Plot the intercepts and graph!!!
