CAMPUS SELECTION PROCESS • Serve the State of California • Not an impacted campus • Nursing is the only impacted major on campus (BSN & RN to BSN) • Fall 2013 applications accepted Jan 2 – March 2, 2013 for BSN • Applications accepted Feb 1 – April 13, 2013 for RN to BSN • FTF are admitted if they meet the following requirements: • Complete “a-g” college prep courses with grade of C or better • Earn an eligibility (SAT/ACT) index score • Applicants with a gpa of 3.00 or above are not required to submit test scores to establish admission eligibility
CAMPUSSELECTION PROCESS TRANSFER STUDENTS • Admit Lower Division Transfer Students • Upper Division Transfer Students can be admitted based on courses in progress including the Golden 4 • In progress courses must be completed before the start term • “C” grade or higher required in Golden 4 courses

ASSOCIATE DEGREES FOR TRANSFER SB 1440 • Allows transfer students to receive AA or AS degree from a CCC before transferring to a CSU • Agreement is currently with Bakersfield College • 3 Majors: Communications, Psychology & Sociology • Students will be pre-advised once final transcripts are received • CSUB 301 is the course designed to help transfer students matriculate
NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION • Pre-advising is mandatory for the School of NSME & Nursing • FTF students must take ELM/EPT placement exams BEFORE they will be allowed to attend an orientation, unless they are exempt by SAT, ACT, AP, or EAP scores • All new students are REQUIREDto attend an orientation program (Fee: $55.00) • Students must pre-register to attend programs - NO ONSITE REGISTRATION • Students are allowed to register for courses at orientation
COSTS TO ATTENDFINANCIAL AID SCHOOL CODE: 007993 Figures based on undergrad students considered full-time status (over 6 units) Non-Resident/Foreign Tuition $248.00 per unit (plus fees above)
