Cogeneration (CHP) is the system of a heat engine or a power station to simultaneously generate both electricity and useful heat. electric power Exhaust heat Cooling Absorption chiller heat input cogeneration Heating Heat exchanger Fuel Hot water supply Heat exchanger In Japan has been increasing interestin cogeneration since the Kyoto Protocol. Where is a promising field to spread cogeneration in Japan? It has three fields, industrial , consumer , and ordinary homes fields Keitaro YOSHIDA

Problem of Japan Penetration of cogeneration in Japan, there is much difference when compared with European countries.  Because, there is a difference between European and Japanese environmental awareness. European’s environmental awareness is very high. But Japanese’s it are not very high . So, we need to improve environmental awareness Keitaro YOSHIDA

  8. Last Cogeneration is still developing technology . It is hoped that further improving energy efficiency and reduce costs. If those realized, cogeneration will more spread to Japan. Keitaro YOSHIDA
