  3. PEF Awards/Grants 2012-2013 • PROFESSORIAL CHAIRS/FACULTY GRANTS (AY2012-2013) • 1. Of a total of 28 Professorial Chairs (2 not fully funded), 23 awards have been sent, 1 is still pending, and 4 PCs had no awardees from UPCM list. • 2. Of a total of 6 Faculty Grants, 6 have been awarded • 3. $5,000 for a Dean’s Discretionary Faculty Grants at $1000 each have sent. Criteria have been been finalized. This will be used by the Dean for Faculty Without Compensation (WOC).

FY2012-2013 Notes • Dr Redmon sent two boxes of donated equipment to PGH for FY2012-2013 • Lou Publico had meeting with Dean Agnes and the Chair of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine,Dr. Alvin Mojica on January 10,2013. Dr.Mojica was requesting assistance in securing fellowhip/subspecialty training for his junior faculty. • A Professorial Chair named after Dr.Antonio O.Periquet who served the Rehab department was proposed by Dr. Mojica, Chair of the Rehab Dept . • Third drawdown of 2.5% from PEF corpus in end of April 2013. This method is working well to fund PEF obligations after installation in early 2012 (every 6 months). • Annual fees from Portfolio Solutions for all funds including PEF invested in their company are now 0.37% annually after discussions with the company by Finance Committee in March 2013.

PEF and National Treasurer Scholars AY2012-2013 • From the UPMASA - PEF, there were a total of 32 scholars through LU2 through LU6 (one for the UPCN) • From the National Treasury of UPMASA, a total of 26 scholars (includes 2 in UPCN, and 1 UPV scholars) • Total of 58 scholars for Academic Year 2012-2013.

  11. Account Performance with investment adviser 2004 - 2012 • Performance is calculated at year end of each year – last is 12.31.2012 • The average gain from 2004 to 2012 is 7.42% per year
