Materials Needed • 4 graham crackers • Knife • Cutting board • Hot glue gun • Base for house (paper plate) 4. 1. 5. 2. 3.
Step 1: Exterior Walls • Cut 1 graham cracker in half along center score using a sawing motion
Step 2: Score end wall • Place one graham cracker on the cutting board • Score the graham cracker from the center line to the opposing corner • Score the cracker a second time from the opposing side of the center line to the opposite corner, creating an “X” over half of the cracker
Step 3: Cut End Pieces • Cut the graham cracker along the scores using a sawing motion • Repeat step 2 and 3 to create a second end piece • Eat leftover pieces
Step 4: Cut Roof Pieces • Cut 1 graham cracker in half along center score using a sawing motion
Step 5: Glue exterior and side walls • Glue one exterior wall to one side wall using the hot glue gun • Note: be sure to glue the exterior wall with the long side of the cracker facing up and down so center score of the side wall is aligned with the top of the exterior wall • Repeat for other corner of house • Let assembled pieces dry
Step 6: Glue two sides of house together • Spread glue along the outer edges of one of the assembled house corners, then press against the other corner • Let dry
Step 7: Build Roof • Spread glue along outer edge of roof • Attach two roof sections together, place along top of assembled house to ensure angle is correct • Let dry
Step 8: Attach Roof • Spread glue along the upper ridge of the side pieces • Place the roof along the upper ridge of the assembled side pieces • Fill in any gaps with hot glue • Let dry
Step 9: Attach to base • Glue the house to the base • Congratulations! You’re done
