Good bye from IVA • Thank you all for letting me be your administrative assistant from July till February. I had a great time, learned a lot and appreciated being part of Sila. I hope I met your expectations and that I was helpful. Remain proud Sila members and let the good work continue with the new board. Sincerely, Iva.
What SILA means to us • To welcome and assist newcomers to Slovenia, share information and experience, foster goodwill and friendship among our members, further members’ knowledge and understanding of Slovenia by organising cultural, sports, educational and social activities and raise funds for the benefit of selected charity projects.

Our goals • Financial transparency • Upon hand over – prepare financial plan for 2014 • Submit quarterly report to the Supervisory committee • Cost reduction & fund raising increase • Reduce running costs • Finding sponsors • SILA statute (rules) • Creation of a committee • All suggestions sent by 31.3. will be considered laurabolfa@hotmail.com • Deadline for finished the statute: 30.05. 2013
Who are SILA members? • Foreign ladies living temporarily or long term in Slovenia • Slovenian ladies with international background • 5 continents • 38 countries • 123 members • 10% spouses of diplomats
