Less than half of America’s high school graduates are prepared for college-level math and science. -ACT Students from low-income families who acquire strong math skills by the 8th grade are 10 times more likely to finish college than peers of the same background who do not. -National Center on Education Statistics

    4. Why? Almost 33% of all college freshmen fail to pass basic entrance exams and are required to take remedial courses.  Over 25% of all college freshmen drop out before their second year. -College Board
