  2. SRE teachers are community members with a wide range of skills and experiences to share. Benefits to schools Many SRE teachers are older. That’s good for students with little or no contact with grandparents or older family members. SRE teachers can help students see life from a faith perspective, sharing how faith can enrich life.

  3. SRE teachers are committed to the spiritual development of kids. Not all classroom teachers have knowledge or experience in that area. Benefits to schools The Bible is key to a lot within Western culture. Knowing the Bible brings deeper understanding of language and culture. SRE teachers are links with local churches that have hundreds of potential volunteers to serve in schools.
