Stages of ICSI Treatment IVF stands for In Vitro Fertilization which is also referred as ICSI. This treatment is helpful for the people who are not able to conceive a baby naturally. You may wonder that how it is possible for a couple to have their baby without able to conceive. During the IVF process, when a woman is not able to conceive naturally, then an egg is removed from the ovaries of the women and fertilized with the sperm of the man by intracytoplasmic sperm injection method in the laboratory. Then, the fertilized egg is again placed in the womb of the women to grow older. According to the reports, ICSI treatment in Bangalore is best in the country. Stages of the ICSI treatment: 1.Down-Regulation Initially, nasal spray has been taken from the 21 days of the cycle continuously for the 14 days in order to switch off the transfer of hormonal messages from the brain to the ovaries. This process will able to release the premature eggs from the ovaries which are also termed as ovulation. 2.Ovarian stimulation If the injection with hormones is given daily, then it increases the possibility of generating the multiple eggs. The process of injection is carried out for 11-13 days and ultrasound is done for the scanning of the eggs atleast two times. Once, the eggs are mature then one injection is given to ripen the eggs and collect the eggs after 36 hours of stimulation. 3.Egg Collection A collection of eggs is done in RFC, Royal hospital site in which the needle is needed to attach. Fluid is pumped out in the test-tube within each follicle and other person checks the presence of the eggs with the use of a microscope. This process will take approximately 15-20 minutes but the pain relief is provided to the patient as the process can be painful at the time of eggs collection. 4.Insemination in the next step, the eggs and the sperm are kept together with a fluid overnight which will provide all the nutrient that are essential for the fertilization of the eggs. For the next two-three days, the embryos are kept to grow older before keeping it back in the womb. Patients are advised by the doctors when the embryo transfer should take place for the successful fertilization. 5.Embryo transfer Finally, the day will come which is the most precious part of the women Embryo transfer. At the day of the embryo transfer, the best embryo will be selected and placed in the womb of the woman. The process will take few minutes to complete. Usually, embryo transfer takes place on the second, third or fifth day after the eggs collection. These were the stages of the ICSI treatment.
