Platelet Rich Plasma(PRP) is the next step in fight against the ageing process along with chemical peels,LASERs, dermal fillers and BOTOX. Human growth factors have many clinical applications such as wound healing and tissueregeneration. Platelet derived growth factors (PDGF) binds with various tissues in skin andcause cell proliferation and new blood vessel formation that leads to tissue rejuvenation. Blood is made up on 93% RBC, 1%WBC and 6% platelets. Platelets can be separated bycentrifugation and can be injected into the skin. Indications: a. Scar Treatment b. Hair loss c.
