After teaching for one year, Dr. Taylor became a resident in general surgery at the Royal Post-Graduate Medical School and Hammersmith Hospital in London. He returned to Manchester Royal to complete his surgical training with a residency in general surgery, urology, orthopedics, and cardiac surgery.
