  11. StructuralChanges in TRT Structural and technological changes have been made in TRT since 2007. Alsomajor technological investments have been made and new national and international radio and TV channels were launched. Many new thematic TV channels were opened such as TRT Haber (news), TRT Çocuk (kids), TRT Müzik (music), TRT Belgesel (documentary), TRT Spor (sports). On the other hand, TRT Türk, TRT Avaz, TRT Ettürkiye (Arabic), TRT6 (Kurdish) Channels were founded.

  14. StructuralChanges in TRT Especially program and technical production process have been restructured for each TV channel. Instead of central management, each TV channel is designed as an independent coordinatorship. Also, program and technicalproduc- tion units were formed. Each channel coordinatorship has a core program and technical production staff. If the channel coordinatorships need more staff, they can demand the staff from theProgram andTechnical Production Coordinatorship. TRT TrainingPolicy • Trainings are planned and implemented according to the needs of TRT staff who are working in production and broadcasting services. • Another aim is to benefit from scientific, technological and artistic devolopments in the worldand put it into practice. • To organize training activities within the scope of the cooperation with domestic, regional and international organizations.
