Roles and Responsibilities • Supervisor/Director • Assign mentors/mentees • Check on the relationship/progress • Support both parties-neutral
Mentor R&R • Offer guidance and support-using the mentees current skills • Respect and celebrate successes-no matter how small • Be sensitive, nurturing and caring • Provide positive feedback and constructive criticism • Ask open ended questions
Mentees R&R • Be open to having a mentor • Be respectful of mentors knowledge • Take the advice and put into practice • Ask questions
