Epiphyseal Fracture • Occurs at the growth plate (epiphyseal)where bone matrix is undergoing calcification and chondrocytes are dying • Can stop growth
Compression Fracture • Occur in vertebrae subjected to extreme stresses • Landing on your butt on a fall
