Warm-up The Spanish sought to strengthen its hold on Texas in the late 1600s. List at least three different ways a colonial power might try to extend its influence over a colony.
Study the picture of the mission. Look for clues about mission life and how the Spanish shaped the culture of Texas. They write clues in the appropriate pie piece (political, economic, social), providing at least one clue for each category. (refer to tools if needed)
