  1. Review Session for Certification Exams Presented by the Certification Committee Academy of Surgical Research 2010 Annual Meeting

  2. Introduction • Participation is encouraged. This is your review session. If a question is thrown out to the audience, take a chance and offer an answer. We want you thinking. • Time does not allow this to be all inclusive. An attempt is made to highlight key topics, with emphasis on areas that people have had trouble with in the past. • The first few topics will apply to all levels. Final topics will apply to SRT and SRS.

  3. Basic Information • Application deadline is April 15th • Make sure you include all of the requested documentation to prevent a delay in acceptance • Relevant education • Case log covering a 12 month period • Narratives • Completed application • Signatures

Test Tips • You will have 4 hours to complete the exam • Unanswered questions will be counted against you as incorrect, so answer all of them! • Read the question and all answers carefully prior to answering. Make sure you understand what is being asked. • Bring a basic calculator. There will be dose calculations.
