Welcome to Honors Algebra 2 Mrs. Barb Cymanski Education: BA from Hiram College Masters in Education from Kent State University Experience: 25 years teaching experience in Middle School and High School mathematics Personal: I have 3 kids (2 are attending Ohio State and one is a freshman at Crestwood) My family spends much of our time training for triathlons/running.

Mathematical Practices • To make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. • To reason abstractly and quantitatively. • To construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others. • To model real world situations with mathematics. • To use appropriate tools strategically. • To attend to precision. • To look for and make use of structure. • To look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning. • *To prepare your child for Honors Pre-Calculus.
