  2. It is the first of the year. The snow is already piled up yet it won’t stop falling. Outside there are kids sledding and building snow forts. Finally it stops snowing and it starts warming up. The snow melts away to reveal the wet, muddy ground. The rain comes and brings the beautiful spring flowers. The sun finally shows its face shinning like a candle’s glow. Green grass covers the ground. Kids are playing catch in the warm sun. The leaves are changing color and falling to the ground. We have to rake the leaves in to piles. Footballs sail through the air. The cold comes a again and the year comes to a end.
