Truth v/s Humanity Veer Aalam In South Africa, Young Gandhiji got a dispute with a bad Afghani person, named “Veer aalam”. Veer Aalam hit him on his head several times by a rod. Gandhiji became unconscious. Police arrested the veer aalam. What did the Gandhiji do on getting consciousness? What will you do in that situation?
What did the Gandhiji done? As Gandhiji came in conscious, he asked “ Oh! How is Veer Aalam?” People told that he had been caught by the police. Gandhiji Got up and went to the police station and told police that Veer Aalam was innocent. Veer Aalam acquitted from the jail but became a slave of Gandhiji by heart.

Answer by Gandhinism What will Gandhiji do in that situation? Gandhiji will take favor of truth and continue the dispute and turn the other cheek after getting slapped on one cheek. He will continue nonviolent protest without surrender. Result: Nine other people except the one disputed person, will be with Gandhiji. That disputed person will also become follower of Gandhiji in near future.
