Central themes of collaborative working with FE; curriculum development and employability, IAG on employability and sustaining vocational progression into HE. Sustainability in the format of the Engaging with Employability website. Currently linked with Creative Industries website.
Key Themes/Identifiers • Signposts those in HE who are responsible for curriculum development to staff expertise and resources for employability skills for HE learners • Showcases Graduate/Student and Employer projects • Promotes Regional Partner Institutions employer engagement projects
Key Benefits • Sustainability - will promote the developments in employability by the Lifelong Learning Networks until • Advocates the projects developed by the LLNs, HE and FE institutions within the West Midlands (inc. Enterprise Societies, KTPs, SPEED, NCGE, etc) • Inspires students, graduates and employers in supporting HE/FE collaboration through student placement and recruitment.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS • Sustain website through local HE institution collaboration promoting more employer engagement projects through case studies, video and podcasts. • Publicize Engaging with Employability websites by organising a Seminar/Conference workshop event in March 2011.
