  5. Here is an update • From the past six(6) months ..of ministries that have just been launched or are about to be wheeled out on the runway…

  6. Humber College (Lakeshore) in Toronto 6,000 + students Growing and expanding The First Monday in February will see the launch a of a new “church” under the EMBASSY banner. Led by Josh Hagemann

  7. Downtown MONTREAL • CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY 30,000 + • MCGILL UNIVERSITY 22,000 + • DAWSON COLLEGE 5,000 + • AND MORE • Is now being reached by our CMC missionary PSEGGA JONES , in partnership with EVANGEL PENTECOSTAL CHURCH.

  8. YORK UNIVERSITY ( GLENDON CAMPUS) Toronto • 4500 Students • EKKLESIA CHURCH Launched in September • Led by SATH ARULVARATHAN

  9. RYERSON UNIVERSITY Toronto • 22,000 Students • CMC is in discussions with DAVID BURKE to start a ministry plant on campus as an urban/campus missionary

  10. U.P.E.I. Charlottetown • 5,000 Students • Rapidly expanding • Blocks from Calvary Pentecostal Church • Outreach Pastor Josh Singh is building bridges in order to develop a CHAPLAINCY connection.

  11. LAURENTIAN UNIVERSITY Sudbury • 8,000 + (bi-lingual) • Markus Rukkila (former UTown intern) serves as Dean of Students for Thorneloe University and is beginning a campus ministry onsite.

  12. CONESTOGA COLLEGE • CAMBRIDGE CAMPUS (Ontario ) • CALVARY CHURCH has launched a Satellite expression in the Campus Residence this past term. • Led by JAMIE NELSON

  13. U of SASKATCHEWAN Saskatoon 24,000+ The DISTRICT and LAWSON HEIGHTS ASSEMBLY are beginning serious prayer and discussions to launch a new work on the U of S campus. Under the leadership of Rev John Drisner

  14. LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY Thunder Bay • 8,000+ a BRAND NEW campus group launched this fall under the leadership of GARY WILSON and JED ARMSTRONG. SUPPORTED by EVANGEL CHURCH, which borders the campus.

  15. BROCK UNIVERSITY St. Catharines , ON • 15,000 Students • THIS SUNDAY there is a launch of a brand new “OUTPOST” (campus church) in the BROCK PUB). • It is called COLLIDE (www.wearecollide.ca) and it is led by ROY OLENDE ( of Red Frogs fame) and supported by Central Community Church.

  16. JOHN ABBOTT COLLEGE West Montreal • 4500 + Campus Group now led by Tamera Thibodeau as of this fall….

  17. U of MANITOBA Winnipeg GREG JUNGHANS is assuming leadership of THE PORCH , a campus “church” – which will augment the efforts of his wife ( CMC Missionary ) TAMMY JUNGHANS who planted SEGUE , a campus club at U of M a year ago.

  18. MOUNT ALLISON UNIVERSITY Situated in SACKVILLE, NB SACKVILLE/MOUNT ALLISON is at the top of the priority list for the next church plant – with a view of impacting the campus.

  19. U of Winnipeg 10,000 students JOE KENDRICK of SOUL SURVIVOR CHURCH has started a campus ministry onsite this fall

  20. This is all brand new…. • It doesn’t even include BCCM news like the placement of my friend Cal Weber at BCIT or Andy Moore becoming the new chaplain at UVic. There is MORE going on as well!!

  21. There is so much more to be DONE • University of Toronto 67,000 students • York University 55,000 students • University of Montreal 44,000 students • 1.5 Million Canadians are in Universities and Colleges this year….

  22. There is so much more to be DONE We have ministries looking for CHAPLAINS , PASTORS, DIRECTORS….. We are breaking fresh ground and we need your prevailing prayer even at this moment. We are only scratching the surface of the NEED and of our POTENTIAL in GOD.

  23. We are on the threshold of a MOVEMENT The TIME is NOW!

  24. IT IS A GOD-SIZED CHALLENGE & OPPORTUNITY It is about HIM – not us And How He will use us as we respond to Him in FAITH and LOVE www.campusmission.ca
