Tornado and Hurricane Research Project • You will be completing an independent research project for the next 3 days • Choose 1 tornado and 1 hurricane to research • Record your research on your notebook paper • Create a “powerpoint” presentation on one of the storms you research that you will email to me. • Both the research and the presentation are due by Monday, April 21st.

  3. Reading and Notes • Skim pages 20 – 24 in the green catastrophic book. Add any additional information to your notes from the reading • Process your 3 pages of notes • Summarize EACH page of notes in 20 words. • On page 186 – Create a 3 circle Venn Diagram. Compare and Contrast: • Thunderstorms • Tornadoes • Hurricanes

  4. Fist to 5 closure – page 178 • What level on the scale are you right now? Explain why you chose that number.
