Why? • Difficult to find documents • shortcomings in structure and regulatory framework - how documents are categorized, stored and tracked. • dont know if there is a developed routine document • Many of the same but different • Need to quality assure documents • current? • Changed health care structure • Develop health care in line with patient process VIS
VIS- Care A decision support-system which: • Supports health care main processes • Independent of medical / organizational structure • Enables a process-oriented approach • Provides access to evidence / best practice standards • National guidelines • Procedure document • Standardized care plans • Patient information • Photos / videos • Easily accessible and user-friendly in the clinical work • Provides access to the right information whenever needed VIS
VIS- Care is built on a SharePoint plattformby County council of Norrbotten in cooperation withSOGETI Luleå and Microsoft Sweden • According: • National Board of Health regulations on management systems for systematic quality assurance. SOSFS 2011:9 • Guidelines for quality management in health care EN ISO 9001:2000 • ” The National Information Structure” • Goals in ”National knowledge-management” • The information (procedure documents) is structured and stored via meta data from national code registers, ICD-10, KVÅ, ATC, etc. • The information is searchable / traceable via free text and / or • Code register • Main process • Form of care • Keyword • Profession VIS
