What is it? • A schizophrenia that can include multiple symptoms of other schizophrenia’s, but not always at the same time, level, and at the same classifications to the others. This keeps it in its own category of schizophrenia. Anyone diagnosed with this type of schizophrenia has gotten it by genetics and does not experience paranoia.
Symptoms • Delusions • Disorganized Thinking • A flat characterizing dulling of emotions • Hallucinations • Catatonic symptoms
Treatment • No known cure, but can be treated through sessions with psychiatrists, and prescribed medications for depression and dull emotions. • Hospitalizations are also recommended in extreme cases.
Diagnosing • Through therapy sessions, psychological testing, and social exams.
Risk factors • Comes from genetics only. And can increase in intensity from shock trauma and/or traumatic experiences.
Negative Symptoms • Deadened or dull emotions. • Improvised or impaired speech • Inability to feel pleasure • Loss of interest in activities • Social withdrawal
Positive Symptoms • Hallucinations • Delusions
Differences • Needs more than 2 or 3 present symptoms present in the stages of identifying it as undifferentiated schizophrenia. • Contains in some situations, Catatonic schizophrenia in a low level (not fully) and it’s symptoms. • No paranoia can be present or it isn’t undifferentiated.
