  4. Eva Gardner DeHart Co-Founder For Haiti With Love (www.ForHaitiWithLove.org) Eva is co-founder of For Haiti with Love, inc., a faith mission. Eva's motto is "just do next month what the contributions this month provide." Today there is (1) food program providing nutritionally balanced meals to the hungry, (2) formula for babies with no mothers or mothers without breast milk, (3) construction program that has completed churches, schools, marketplaces in 6 villages, over 50 homes for the homeless and (4) medical program providing 24-hour emergency medical care for the poor. As funding permits, there is also funding for tuitions for the school of choice, funerals, x-rays and other medical needs from doctors and hospitals that charge and, of course, the poor box by the door for the elderly. Used clothing in excellent shape is used as packing material and distributed primarily to the burn patients who have lost everything in a home fire. When the budget permits, their home is either repaired or rebuilt and they are put on the food program during their recuperation period. TRIBUTE: Don DeHart - For Haiti With LoveOn April 15 2006 Eva's beloved husband and Co-Founder of FHWL, Don DeHart lost his long battle with cancer and went to be with our Lord and Savior. Eva remarked that "for the 32 years we have been married, I can say he has always been one to do things as soon as he had the idea. Never was he able to leave a job long enough for volunteers to come to help him… do it now, get it done… As we look at the wonderful way he had things set up in Haiti so that they could run smoothly during his cancer battle…I finally understood that he was simply driven to help—and help now. Learned to accept it, watch God provide the funding and see his dreams complete one by one. The purchase of the headquarters, the security wall, the annex on the land down from the headquarters — homes for the homeless, feeding the hungry, and mending the hurt, burnt and wounded. He had a passion for helping and zero tolerance for procrastination. Join us in prayer that God's work through Don, helping the poor of Haiti, will continue. He touched the lives of thousands of people both in Haiti and in the U.S. and their world and ours is a better place because Don did the work that God called him to do."

Vince Wozniak Board Member Somebody Cares Tampa Bay (www.SCTB.org) Advisor Catmon Foundation International (www.CatmonFoundation.org) Vince is a gentle soul who's mission is empowering and leading others in Christian life.  He shares a unique Godly perspective to daily living in Christ. He serves as a Deacon in his church and actively participates in encouragement of Christian leaders and businessmen throughout the Tampa Bay region and beyond.  The reflection of Christ Jesus can easily be seen in this mans face - praise God that he serves with joy and wisdom for Father God. Vince and Guy sat one day in their usual coffee shop in anguish over the seemingly impossible situation for Haitians. The oppression of poverty continues to drag upon God's children and thwarts the spread of God's reach of God's loving care among Haitians throughout the country.  The economic downturn in America, coupled with a firm belief that sustaining mission work is the new breed of action, the idea of partnerships with Haitians came to focus on how to restore souls and restore coffee in Haiti and thus was born Spirit Cafe USA in partnership with Spirit Cafe d'Haiti.

  7. Reverend Dr. Don Ralston Pastor The Living Church Clearwater, Fl Dr. Ralston has been pastor in the greater Tampa Bay area for years.  He has brought many to the salvation of our Father through Christ Jesus.  Don has said "I believe what they say about all of us being just two paychecks away from poverty," as he has ministered about the area starting food and clothe drives and ongoing projects in churches that run strong today.  Dr. Ralston has a Heart For Haiti and has been an ongoing supporter of mission efforts in Haiti, having gone into Haiti himself.  He is an encourager, an over-comer and uses his connections and years of experience to empower and urge others to reach beyond the natural. Today Dr. Ralston's activities center around pastoral care for other pastors, a unique, needed service for the Father's children who have the call to Sheppard the flock.  We are grateful for the years of experience and biblical foundation that Dr. Ralston brings to Heart For Haiti Foundation. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Heart For Haiti Foundation (an out-growth from several missions in the greater Tampa Bay area) believes it is God's desire that the country of Haiti and it's people need to see a demonstration, not merely a presentation, of the God's love for them, but in a tangible lasting loving way as Churches, Ministries, and Businesses work in unity to bring the Good News of the Gospel and the necessities of life to the underprivileged, then seen is the love of God expressed in a real and sustaining replicable manner.  We at Heart For Haiti Foundation goal to work in concert with local Haitian ministries to provide the basic necessities of life and to educate and develop healthy, self-sustaining communities, families and individuals. Practically, we can do much more together than we can do apart.
