HSBC Commercial Bank The Story:Due to the centralisation of loan approvals and the loss of input from local branches, small businesses felt that high street banks didn’t understand their needs or even cared about them – that they were cold and impersonal. We were challenged to change to tell a different story. In true retail fashion, this poster campaign was turned around in two weeks, but it formed the basis of a print campaign, in-branch collateral, direct mail fulfilment, and web presence. The Plot:Make prospects aware of the services offered by HSBC; Project the image that HSBC was more “personal” and offered more personalised service than other high street banks Readers:Small to medium sized businesses Epilogue:According the client, this was the best integrated campaign for commercial services he had seen. When the posters ran in branch, enquiries went up by over 30%
