  1. SDS-Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis of Proteins a.k.a. SDS-PAGE

  2. NBD-chloride will bind to many of the same places ATP does… however it will also react with the protein and remain attached, unlike ATP. Proteins that have been labeled somehow with a radioactive reagent will show up black when the gel is exposed to x-ray film. Antibodies will detect the specific proteins they have been prepared against when incubated with protein blotted nitrocellulose.
