The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse -Revelation 6 Not one specific person/event, but people/events throughout history which bring God’s judgement in the world. • Rider on the white horse, v2 = war in general • Rider on the red horse, v4 = localisedtrouble and war • Rider on black horse, v5 = famine & shortage • Rider on pale horse, v8 = Death & hopelessness V12-17- the end of the world as we know it. • Total upheaval, the removal of every familiar landmark, the dissolution of life’s firmest ground and strongest defences. • But God is in control!
