  2. Background The 3rd International Art and Science Exhibition and Academic Symposium mainly intended to reward innovation talents in art and science. The organizing committee selected over 112 works from 22 countries and regions from 462 works submitted through appraisal by relevant experts. The works exhibited come in various forms, including scientific works that demonstrate integration of art and science such as new media art, product design, architectural, environmental design, visual communication design and art creation etc. The theme of the event is “information•ecology•wisdom”, and is intended to pool together the most frontier research achievements in contemporary international artistic and scientific fields, and gather the pluralistic cognitive concepts and diversified means of demonstration in the current artistic and scientific fields.

  3. The opening ceremony of the 3rd International Art and Science Exhibition and Academic Symposium

  4. The opening ceremony of “the 3rd International Art and Science Exhibition” was grandly held in China Science and Technology Museum on the afternoon of Nov. 1, 2012. Over 3000 people comes from 120 universities around the world attended the event.

Academic Symposium In addition to high-end international exhibition of art and science works, the event has also carried out a series high-level symposiums under the theme of “information, ecology and wisdom”. I have had a constructive communication with professor Lu xiaobowho is the chairman of symposiums committee and dean of Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua

  6. Nearly three hundred experts and scholars from various colleges and universities nationwide also attend the symposium.
