48 hr Outlook Tropical Storm Isaac strengthens a little more as it moves west-northwest toward the southern coast of Hispaniola. At 11:00 AM AST..1500 UTC the center of Isaac was located near 16.3N 70.8W or about 185 miles..300 km SSE of Port Au Prince, Haiti. Maximum sustained winds 60 mph...95 km/h. Present movement...WNW or 295 degrees at 14 mph...22 km/h. Minimum central pressure...1000 mb...29.53 inches________________________________ Joyce degenerates into a remnant Low. At 11:00 AM AST...1500 UTC, the remnant Low was located near 17.8N 46.2W or about 1030 miles …1655 km E of the Leeward Islands. Maximum sustained winds 35 mph...55 km/h Present movement...WNW or 300 degrees at 16 mph...26 km/h Minimum central pressure...1009 mb...29.80 inches_________________________________ A broad area of low pressure just to the south of the Cape Verde Islands is producing disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. Some development of this low is possible over the next couple of days as it moves toward the W or WNW 10 to 15 mph(30 % of becoming a tropical cyclone).
