Clinic • Extra help is available Tuesday – Thursday after school. • Students should attend clinic as soon as they know they are struggling with a concept or skill. • The day before a test or quiz is often crowded and provides little opportunity for individual attention. It is best to attend clinic on a regular basis to receive extra help.
Tips and suggestions • Chemistry is cumulative • concepts introduced in the first marking period will be used throughout the year. • Students should invest 20 minutes per night on chemistry. If there is no formal homework assignment, students should review class notes and assignments, and keep up with the chapter homework • Keeping up with the material is the key to a successful year!
Science Fair and SAT II • Please take a handout describing the opportunities for participation in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science and/or Intel Science fairs this year. • SAT II subject area exam is offered in June. We provide the prep clinics starting in March. Free and after school
