The Bottom Line • The recently developed armorial bearings of Kenyan counties illustrate many problems in design, artwork and attention to cultural detail. They also show us how completely digital manipulation has entered into Kenyan design. • The Kenyan public is generally dissatisfied with the work that their County Assemblies have done in creating their armorial bearings. They have recently dis-elected many of the members of their County Assemblies for this and other reasons. • Across the board, Kenyans appear to have ittle interest in their own cultures or history.
