Success Club • Designated time daily when teachers ensure success of students • Provide time and space to receive extra help, tutorials, complete assignments • 30 minutes maximum before/after school • If conflict between school work and extracurricular activity, the expectation is that school work be made priority

Homework • Grade 8: we expect very little issues with homework completion • All questions assigned are completed • Ready for marking at assigned time • Work is at school • We understand if things come up – communicate with us and we will work it out

Assessment • Before, during, after lesson • In class (teacher observation) • On going process, assessing themselves as well as submitted work and evidence of knowledge obtained • Your child should be able to tell you what they are learning and why it is relevant to the world
