Task • Given a LOGONID and Password, successfully logon to the ATRRS system; search for a course; verify eligibility; check availability; apply for course; track process; acknowledge approval/ disapproval.
Condition • The student will be given: • 99th RSC ATRRS Handbook • SAM-P Form 9-R (LOGONID Request) • Various handouts
Standard • Working knowledge is defined as the ability to Logon to the ATRRS system submit an A1 application, and track the process.
System Features • Basic DOS programming • Dial-up connectivity LAN or MODEM • PENTAGON Mainframe - various firewalls • Exclusive ATRRS E-Mail system • DATABASE of record for all Institutional Training
Reports Generator • TSO - Time Sharing Options • download various ‘canned’ reports • uses ‘live’ data - up to the minute • reports must be converted to excel/word/access • change password in TSO
Request for LOGONID • Complete the SAM-P Form 9-R • Have TASO sign the form • Have Security Manager sign - verify clearance [ Minimum of CONFIDENTIAL] • FAX to the LAN ADMINISTRATOR @ • (703) 645-0432
LOGONID and Password • LOGONID and temporary password will be mailed to agency address • Requirement is to Logon and change password immediately in TSO • Passwords are good for 60 days - system will prompt before expiration
Access level • New users are given ‘review’ ability • Access Management is requested through the Major Subordinate Command - MSC • LOGONID is ‘attached’ to UIC • UIC is then ‘routed’ through the approval chain
