Arrangements for end of break • The whistle will be blown a few minutes before the end of break in the quiet area and all weather pitch to allow children time to get back to line up on time. • When the whistle is blown in the main playground all children should go to their class line up area as quickly as possible. P4 – 7s should put away any equipment they are using before lining up. • When it is time to take the lines in the auxiliary/EYW co-ordinating the lines will blow their whistle one more time to remind children that they should be standing quietly, in single file, facing the front, ready for when their class is called forward to go into school with their Class Teacher. Scrapstore (lunch break only) • P4 – 7 only – the scrapstore bell will go 5 minutes before the end of lunch break to let everyone know it is time to tidy up and put the scrap back in the shed.
