  3. Physical Changes • ages 20-39 • Prime of life • Athletic abilities shoulder width, height, and chest size. • Hearing impairment.

  4. Cognitive Changes • Abilities decline • Situations that tap long-term memories and well-learned skills. • Vocabulary, Comprehension, and General Knowledge. • Young Adults learn new information and new skills everyday.

  5. Intimacy vs. Isolation • Some Young people become able to commit themselves to another person • Others develop a sense of isolation and fell they have no one in the world but themselves.

  6. Social Changes • Education, Dating, and Travel. • Still living with parents. • Mature Relationships. • Becoming Parents. • Changes seen in families and family life.

  7. Moral Reasoning • Pleasing others • Doing your duty • Following universal ethical principles

  8. In Conclusion • Physical growth still continues • Young Adults choose a job and often a mate; also may become parents
