Grants Program • To implement local community service projects • To assist individuals with vocation or education grants • a. Monetary grants $250 -2,000 • b. One grant per club per year • c. Individual limited to one grant • Grant requests are due March 15 and September 15 annually

Endowment Fund • Legacy for future generations • Interest earned supports: • Letha H. Brown Award - Literacy • Nina Fay Calhoun Award - International Relations • Community Leadership Award • ASTRA Scholarships • ASTRA Service Awards • **April is Endowment Fund Month**
Club 21 Established 1997 to support children with HIV/AIDS • An annual $21 or more will admit an Altrusan or individual to membership in Club 21. • Club 21 currently supports: • Camp Save Haven - Martha’s Vineyard and North Carolina • Bleeding Disorders Alliance Illinois Camp Warren Jyrch • Ghana Health and Education Initiative
Lamplighter • Recognizes an Altrusan who contributes $500 or more in a calendar year. • Participant receives lamplighter pin • Each future $500 contribution earns diamond chip recognition • Ten levels earns the Josie Lucente Lamplighter • Club lamplighter - $500 - banner patch
Local Club Foundation • Must be approved by Foundation Legal Counsel. Packets available from International Foundation. • Instructions: • Prototype Articles of Incorporation • Prototype Bylaws • Formal approval by directors and members of club • Maintain two separate bank accounts • Contributions tax-deductible • Complete Form 990 annually • Forward copy to Foundation office each year
