  1. Everything You Want to Know About Fantasy Football Rankings 2017! There is no doubt that this year’s NFL draft is producing one of the deepest fantasy talent pools in several years. While there is no super-elite prospects in this draft such as Adrian Peterson (though Leonard Fournette comes close) or Larry Fitzgerald, there is an upper echelon of quality that goes 10 deep in my estimation and includes Fournette, Dalvin Cook, Corey Davis, Mike Williams, Joe Mixon, Alvin Kamara, John Ross, OJ Howard, Christian McCaffrey and JuJu Smith-Schuster. These 10 players will ensure that the first round of most rookie drafts will provide a high caliber target that has a high chance to succeed in the NFL. The best dynasty fantasy football sites will not just show you the obvious talent but provide insight into the second and third tier of talent which in this draft is rich with high potential prospects. So much so that I believe the second and third rounds of rookie drafts this year will provide first round quality talent in many cases. From a strategic perspective, that means check out our 2017 rookie rankings and develop a strategy to collect as many second and third round picks as you can affordably get your hands on. Here is a list of sleepers, including DMX scores (find out what this score represents here) that I am eyeing for the middle rounds of rookie drafts that have a higher than normal chance for elite fantasy production: D’Onta Freeman, RB, 1.58 DMX Score — He just lit up his pro day with a sub-4.5 forty at 233 lbs. For the record, that means a 118.8 speed score which is higher than Joe Mixon’s speed score and for that matter, higher than John Ross’ speed score (188.6). Combine that size/speed combo with some elusiveness and great college production and you have a super sleeper for the early second round in rookie drafts. Zay Jones, WR — 1.66 DMX Score — Jones tore up the combine and set records at East Carolina. He’s got the pedigree (his father is former NFL player Robert Jones) and showed his quality at the Senior Bowl. Is a no-brainer in the second round of rookie drafts. Jeremy McNichols — 0.94 DMX Score — Great career at Boise State, lit up the combine, will be drafted in the top five rounds. You can’t ask for much more of McNichols. He’s a former WR and there is a meme out there that he cannot be a power back but when you look at him on tape he certainly does not shy from contact. I like him as a second round sleeper that can carve out a role by the end of the year or the 2018 season. Chris Godwin — 1.37 DMX Score — The biggest sleeper on this list so far. A strong, athletic WR from Penn State who was productive at a young age. Nobody is talking about him which is why he’s not higher on the list of quality WRs this year. I’m talking about him as a solid 2nd round pick. He could be a Mike Williams quality talent in the second round. Curtis Samual — 1.38 DMX Score — Godwin is the better pure receiver, Samuel is the jack of all trades. He played “Percy Harvin” in Urban Meyer’s Ohio State offense last year and will have to develop route running skills. That said, there is no doubting his athleticism.

  2. Bucky Hodges — 1.27 DMX Score — Played more of a WR role in college but is too big for that in the NFL. Will have to learn to block which could hinder his effectiveness early but has all of the traits to be a solid move tight end in the right offense. Plus, you can have him in the third round of most drafts. So there you have it, as I said the best dynasty football sites will get you a layer deeper and this list provides a solid seven players that are not in the first round conversation as of today but could provide first round (or early second round) quality production for your fantasy team. Check out our 2017 rookie rankings to see where these and other sleepers fit into your drafting strategy.
