4. Leadership in Technology (LIT) grant based intervention A £6,000 grant for providers will be available for those that identify a particular improvement that can be tackled through the innovative use of technology. Identify a particular area for improvement that can be tackled through the effective deployment of technology. Identify the change management that needs to take place to embed effective practice and show how this will be part of the organisational improvement strategy. Identify a mentor from another organisation to support the projects.

7. Research - current projects Practitioner Attitudes to Technology • Survey of 820 practitioners in 15 providers of further education in England • Research instrument developed from original work at Thanet College asking about attitudes to technology-in-action • Using Survey Monkey, the structure of the instrument was changed to incorporate free text responses to provide opportunities for respondents to expand on their responses • Individual and provider profiles generated by the survey along with practitioner narratives

8. Research - current projects Practitioner Tools for Inclusion • New database for resources for inclusion based on subjects • Discussion and dialogue on current resources taken to the ALT SIG on inclusive education, Tech-Dis, JISC-RSCs and other national bodies
