  2. Television • Is widely used communication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images. It may specifically refer to television set, television programs or television transmission.

  3. Five types of delivery system Broadcast television Satellite transmission Microwave Relay Station Cable Transmission Closed- Circuit Television

  4. Broadcast television • Is a transmission of powerful electromagnetic waves through the air. Broadcast television signals use the very-high and ultra-high frequencies (VHF and UHF) radiate outwards to the horizon from the transmitting antenna.

  5. Satellite transmission • Is a television delivered by the means of communications satellite dish and set-top box.

  6. Microwave Relay Station • Are tall towers that receive television signals, amplify them, and retransmit them as microwave signals to the next relay stations.

  7. Cable Transmission Cable television uses a matter antenna that receives the signal then redistributed to areas by coaxial or, more recently, by fiber-optic cable.

  8. Closed- Circuit Television • CCTV refers to transmission of television images directly from a camera to a nearby television display by a means of a cable.

  9. Television for Instruction • There are television programs carried on a public TV such as documentaries, dramas, new public affairs features, musical performances, science programs, etc. that can be used as an add on to instruction.
