A fleet of Humvees arrived to an Iraqi camp carrying Major Brian Dennis and his team. The US Marines came to train the Iraqi soldiers.
Brian was always a dog lover. A pack of dogs approached Brian and his team, they shared their food with the canines. Who appeared to be the leader of the pack, had his ears cut off by Iraqi soldiers, laid on his back and Brian rubbed his belly.
This dog and Brian formed an ever growing friendship. Brian shared his food and slept with the dog on cold nights.
Brian and his team were relocated and had to leave Nubs behind because it is against military rules to have dogs.
Nubs is determined to remain with Brian and follows behind the Humvees all the way to the new location.
Anytime Brian is relocated, Nubs follows
Until one day when Brian is relocated to the Jordanian border. 70 miles away.
Nubs attempts to follow but is wounded preventing him from keeping up with the Humvees and Nubs falls to the ground all alone.
