  3. One sunny day, a red lady bug named Layla, was just swinging on the swing at the park until something caught her eye. She saw a handsome bright blue lady guy bug. She was to shy too make eye contact with the mystery blue bug.

  4. So, Layla went home that night and told Mamma bug everything. Mamma was so happy for Layla, but Mamma said to Layla, “You have to have courage like a bird.” So, later that night Layla decided she could do it. But, she was so scared to tell Daddy bug!

  5. The next morning, Layla went to the park after school. Guess what? Layla saw the blue bug. She zoomed like a car to hide, but she remembered what Mamma bug had told her, “Have courage.” So, Layla took a big breath and went over to talk!!

  6. Layla walked up behind him, and the handsome blue boy bug turned and smiled. Layla finally introduced herself to the boy. He said to Layla, “You have a pretty name.” The blue bug said his name was Nathan.

  7. I can’t tell her, I’m so sad.

  8. Everyday from that day on, they spent every day at the park. A couple of weeks went past, and Nathan had some bad news!

  9. Nathan didn’t want to tell Layla that he was moving away. Sadly, he left a letter on the step of her house. The next morning, Layla went into the living room where Mamma was sitting. Mamma looked all sad. Layla asked Mamma what was wrong with her, and Mamma handed her the letter. After Layla read the note, she could not stop crying.

  10. Mamma hugged Layla and tried to comfort her, but she was too sad, and she ran out of the room. She thought she was in love with Nathan. A few years later, she saw another boy bug and his name was Tyler. Layla and Tyler got married and had baby bugs!!

  11. I love my new family

  12. But little did anyone know that Layla still had the letter from Nathan. She told her Mamma that she still had the note. Mamma told Layla to get rid of the note, and to have fun with your new family.

  13. Layla and Tyler lived happily with their baby bugs. Layla got rid of the letter, but she will always think of the one that got away!

  14. You may be wondering what happened to Nathan?Well, he moved on and he is living with his wife and 17 baby bugs.The END
