Discover the impact of Earth's tilt on seasons and Newton's laws in space. Understand how the tilt affects weather patterns and motion in space. Connects to the science curriculum by explaining Newton's first and third laws.

The four seasons • The exhibit explains how the position of the earth being on a tilt makes the 4 seasons and how in other places the weather is different. • The tilt affect the seasons because as the earth moves around the sun the tilt does not change making the sun’s rays hit the earth in different places therefore having different seasons. also places away from the equator may get different seasons and the places near the equator do not
The four seasons • This picture also helps explain the 4 seasons
How does it connect to our curriculum? • This exhibit connects to the science curriculum because it Explains C 29. How the regular motion and relative position of the sun, Earth and moon affect the seasons because the tilt affects the seasons because as the earth moves around the sun the tilt does not change.
Newton's air hockey • The purpose of Newton’s air hockey is to show how Newton’s law works in space. • It demonstrates newton's first law how in space a object in motion stays in motion unless a outside force acts upon it because in space there is nothing just planets meteors and drag cant stop it because the is no air, gravity, and space debris so unless it hits one of those things it will keep going. • It also states newton's third law for every action there is a opposite and equal reaction because if two space rocks had a collision and they didn’tbrake they would go in the opposite direction in which they came from.
How does it connect to our curriculum? • This exhibit connects to our science curriculum because it explains C 23.Describing the qualitative relationships among force, mass and changes in motion, like Newton’s firstand third laws as explained in the last slide.
