2009 IEEE Student Paper Contest Call for Paper IEEE Seoul Section calls for papers for the Student Paper Contest 2009, an annual convention to promote its Student Members’ technical paper publications. Outstanding papers selected from the Contest will be granted a privilege to participate in IEEE Region-10 Student Paper Contest 2010. Active participation is solicited from all the Student Members from IEEE Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing Sections and Japan Council. Submission guidelines and a detailed schedule of important dates are as follows: Submission Due date : Midnight, November 23 (Monday), 2009. Paper Format : Papers written in English according to IEEE technical paper template with no page limit, and saved in pdf file format. (3 - 6 pages are recommended). Scope of Eligible Papers: 1. Original English papers unpublished not submitted for publication in any other journals or proceedings. 2. English papers presented in domestic conferences in 2009*. 3. Translated papers presented in domestic conferences in 2009*. ** In the case of 2 or 3, the name of the domestic conference should be stated. Notification of selection : Through e-mail by November 26, 2009. Final presentation : Oral presentation for 15 minutes/Poster presentation. 2:00-5:00pm, December 05(Saturday), 2009. ITBT Building, Hanyang University Seoul Campus Prizes : 1 Grand Prize, 2 Best Paper Awards, 3 Outstanding Paper Awards, and 2 Best Poster Paper Awards, and Excellent Paper Awards for all the participants in the final presentation. Awardees will be announced right after the final presentation. Maximum Number of Papers to Submit 1. The maximum number of papers per advising professor is limited to two. Paper Submission: 1. Paper written in English and saved in pdf format according to the IEEE tech paper templates. 2.
