COMPONENTS 1. Entrepreneurial economies have a culture that: - recognises, encourages and supports entrepreneurs; - promotes and engenders entrepreneurial ways of working. 2. Entrepreneurial economies have a dynamic business population based on: - healthy start up rates;- improving survival of newly established firms; - increasing numbers of entrepreneurial firms that are growing; - multiple clusters effects that speed up and reinforce growth. 3. Entrepreneurial economies have an enabling environment based on: - organisations that effectively enable entrepreneurial activity; - a supportive and conducive (hard & soft) infrastructure; - favourable local and wider economic conditions.
