East Essence Scholarship Program- An Initiative to Assist the Zealous Students

1. EastEssence Scholarship Program- An Initiative to Assist the Zealous Students Former President of Africa and the famous revolutionary icon, Nelson Mandela, once said, ““Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” It shapes you for the future and broadens your horizon in more than one way. Unfortunately, education is scarcely available in many parts of globe and we at EastEssence strive to make it available to those who are willing to strive for it. EastEssence has always emphasized on the importance of education and we have even walked an extra mile to provide deserving students from all over the globe with the precious gift of education. EastEssence proudly announces a brand new phase of its Scholarship Program which aims at helping those students who wish to take another educational leap but are restricted by financial means. We aim to reward those students who not only value education but have also spread it in their communities, we aim to reward those students who live by the line, “Each one teach one”. This Scholarship Program helps us to get back to the community who has supported us immensely and is our effort to strengthen the base of education in different parts of globe. Written below are the main objectives of Scholarship Program- To minimize the dropout rate amongst Muslim students which seems is currently alarmingly high. To empower the Muslim women because the famous feminist, Brigham Young rightly said, “You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.” The qualifications for being eligible for the scholarship are- The students applying for the program should have a proper understanding of the Scholarship Program. Also, they should be ready with a well planned model that can show that their future study plans are in accordance to their prime objectives. Students need to ensure that they are facing a financial shortage and should necessarily have zeal to study further. Moreover, to be a part of the program, they must display their professionalism, leadership skills and personal achievements during the course of their study. The students must make a choice in a Graduate or Post graduate field of study.

2. The student applying must be either shortlisted or should be currently pursuing Graduation or Post Graduation. Those applying should ensure that in the upcoming term ends, they will be passing out of high school and will be a part of a college at freshman level. Or else they can currently be enrolled in college. The list of students that have won the meritorious scholarship for the year 2016 are- 1.Asmaa Ahmed, Egypt 2.Arif ul Baig, India- A 3rd year student in Electronics Engineering. 3.Deena Dahsan, USA- A student at Marshall University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in biology 4.Hibo A, UK 5.Nusrat Javed, Bangladesh- A Student of medicine at the KM College. 6.Siti Syuhada Binte Faizal, Singapore 7.Tasmiha Khan, USA- A health professional and public health enthusiast. 8.Zeenat Waris, India- A Writer, activist, mother, wife, and a proud student.
