5 Stress-Free Places By: Brittany Wilt
Day trip to the spa • I’ve only been to one spa in my life, but I can assure you it is one of the best places to relieve stress. My mother goes a few times every year to a place called Hand and Stone Message. They always give her great service and help relieve not only stress in her mind, but also in herbody. I recommend this place to anyone who is interested in relieving excessive amounts of stress. • http://www.handandstone.com/
Go see a movie • Watching a movie is always a great way to get your mind off stress. Even watching a movie at home will do the trick! Make a warm batch of popcorn, sit back, and enjoy a movie for a while.
Hit the gym • One of the ultimate ways to relieve stress is going to the gym. When working out, I can physically feel my body rid the stress I put on it. Not only does it help in the release of stress, it also makes you feel positive about yourself and the things around you.
Take a walk in the park • Walking in a park is one of the most effective and inexpensive ways to relieve stress. When studying, there is nothing better than to take a walk around campus for a quick break. It allows me to free my mind so that I feel refreshed and ready to study again.
Hang out at the beach • Who doesn’t enjoy feeling sand between their toes and the sound of the ocean. I am aware that most people, especially in Arizona, don’t have access to a beach. That is way I advise you to lay out by the pool instead. Hanging out by my pool is my favorite technique I use to relive stress. I’ll grab a book and read while enjoying the Sun’s company.
