  3. Main rail investment programs High Frequency Rail 10 minute frequency for busiest lines. Program budget € 4.5 billion of which € 1.35 billion for OV-SAAL OV-SAAL Corridor Schiphol-Amsterdam-Almere-Lelystad, considerable increase of capacity and quality Mistral Replacement of oldest systems that manage safety, signals and switches. Estimated budget: € 800 million Perron 76 Improving station access for the physically challenged Program runs through 2030; budget: € 450 million

Hanzeline Design & realization new rail line Lelystad - Zwolle ARCADIS is consortium partner for track construction, overhead catenary system and security system of 42 km of new track Total contract value€ 165 million Partners: VolkerRail, Strukton Rail, Alstom ARCADIS also advises ALSTOM on the engineering of the security system

  5. VleuGel(Vleuten–Geldermalsen) Track doubling form Utrecht-Lunetten to Houten. Engineering on behalf of Heijmans. To be completed by 2014 Including total renewal of station Lunetten. HOV lane next to tracks for city of Utrecht Total contract value € 87 million

Second Coentunnel • Main aspects: • Construction of second Coentunnel and renovation of the existing tunnel • Construction, expansion, renovation of 25 viaducts • Construction of 10 km new noise barrier • Construction of 8 km new highway • All associated traffic and tunnel systems and installations • Full system maintenance for 30 years • Total investment ~ € 500 million

Second Coentunnel • ARCADIS activities: • Broad environmental and water consulting • Conceptual design studies, feasibility studies; design • Lead engineer for the consortium • Traffic information systems • Technical installations of tunnel • (Site) Project Organization & Planning • Cooperation with ARCADIS Belgium and ARCADIS Romania

A2 Maastricht Main aspects • Stacked tunnel with 2x2 tubes over 2.3 km • ‘Green Walkway’: a green recreational path for bikers and pedestrians • Real estate plan for adjoining areas including commercial real estate • Accessibility during construction • Sustainable solution for air and noise issues • Construction start in 2011 • Project investment € 530 million excluding real estate investments
