Current Issues Surrounding Living_subject • Living_subject modeled before USAM adopted • A Living_subject cannot be a stakeholder, therefore was initially modeled separately to avoid conflict w/Person • Living_subject contains a large number of attributes in common with Person • Many of the associations needed by Living_subject are common to Person • A Living_subject currently cannot be a Patient in the RIM • Person_name is currently only associated with Person • Living_subject is just plain modeled wrong!
